I pulled out some old hard drives to make a few prints for a client, and got lost down a rabbit hole revisiting one of my first series, FRESH (2012-2014). The project was simple, but loaded with personal meaning after spending almost 10 years exploring food in California’s Central Valley. This work also marked a big transition for me personally, as I shifted more creative energy from marketing to photography, and started to plan my move to NYC. I usually find it difficult to revisit old work, but it’s fun to look back and see how this has all woven through relationships over the years. What a crazy ride.
