HandsOn Central California engages community members to help serve the needs of many area nonprofits. Serve Fresno is a collaboration between HandsOn and Mayor Ashley Swearengin’s initiative on volunteerism and civic engagement, and aims to log 1,000,000 volunteer hours by April, 2010.
That boils down to an average of two hours per city resident—surely, you can spare that, right?
